E. Scott Monaghan
President and Founder
With 20 years experience as a Series 7 Licensed, Registered Representative, Mr. Monaghan has developed a broad knowledge of the securities industry and how it relates to creating solid client relationships. Mr. Monaghan began his career in 1997 with Dean Witter Reynolds Securities Inc., where he spent time in Manhattan NY at the World Trade Center, Tower Two, developing his skills.
Upon departing Dean Witter Reynolds Inc., Mr. Monaghan joined UVest Investment Services (Now part of LPL Financial) to launch a success start-up investment arm, Community Financial Services Inc., a division of Community Savings Bank in Burlington, NC.
This success led to his recruitment by First Union Securities in 2001, later to become Wachovia Securities, and eventually Wells Fargo Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Mr. Monaghan earned his BA Degree (1992) and MA Degree in Political Science (1995) from Appalachian State University, Boone NC.
Mr. Monaghan's family life is extremely important to him. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Georgette, and raising their son Jake. The Monaghan's are members of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wilson NC., and serve that community in a variety of roles. Mr. Monaghan's other interests include many outdoor activities, especially wild turkey hunting and striped-bass fishing.
Kaphie W. Skinner
Senior Client Associate
Enjoying a successful career in the financial services industry for more than 43 years, Mrs. Skinner started her career with First Union National Bank in 1974.
Mrs. Skinner excelled in developing professional relationships with her customers and was promoted to Senior Financial Specialist, obtaining a bank officer title of Vice-President of Wachovia Bank in 2002, later to become Wells Fargo Bank in 2009.
In June 2016, she transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors as a licensed Client Associate, continuing her role helping customers succeed financially.
Mrs. Skinner moved to Wilson in 1973 where she met and married her husband, Ray, of 49 years. They have two lovely daughters, Jennifer and Robin, and three beautiful grandchildren.
Mrs. Skinner thoroughly enjoys spending time on the weekends at baseball and basketball games, supporting her grandchildren and family. Additionally, she loves shopping for antiques and decorating her home during the holidays.
